Little Diggers

Programs give 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds the opportunity to explore nature with caregivers. We’ll learn about fruits and vegetables, discover animals, experience the changing seasons, and more! Each class begins with an interactive group period, followed by time for children to try a variety of hands-on activities. All classes include a plant potting activity and a walk outdoors or in the Greenhouses (weather permitting).

Ages: Children ages 2, 3, or 4 accompanied by adults. One child per adult, please.

Fees: (per child and adult pair for a four-class series)
$70 nonmember per child
Garden Plus members receive a 20 percent discount

Attire
Dress for the weather. Wear clothes that are comfortable for outdoor and indoor activities, and hands-on, sometimes messy, fun.

Location/parking
Fruit & Vegetable Learning Center, Park in Lots 1 or 2 and allow 5 – 7 minutes to walk to your class. A stroller is suggested.
